Billy's Lighthouse Great except for parties
I have eaten at Billy's LightHouse several times and on an individual basis is a very good restaurant. I had a small wedding party that recently went there. We were restricted on potato and salad choices and were not notified of these restrictions prior to when we showed up. Our normally friendly, light-hearted service was instead very serious and unaccomodating. I was very disappointed in this because we had discussed the plans with several people at the restaurant. The reservations were made well in advance as well. I have not contacted the restaurant to discuss my feelings on our service. The meal was paid for by my parents as it was a wedding party.    [12 Dec 2002 12:29:47]

Billy's Lighthouse - Great dining AND Parties!!!
Billy's is a laid back, friendly restaurant where you will feel comfortable in blue jeans or a blue suit. It gives a refreshing alternative the the "Chain" fever exploding in the metro area. I have dined at Billy's on many, many occasions and have had 3 very successful business functions there as well. The food is always excellent - the service is prompt and friendly, the ambiance is light and relaxing. The overall experience is delightful. Billy's Lighthouse -
Billy's has always been and continues to be a favorite restaurant of mine. I remember going there for my 16th birthday 20 years ago, and it's as wonderful now as it was then. Great for casual lunches or important business dinners.    [01 May 2003 16:59:55]

Billy's Lighthouse is an excellent restaurant! Our grooms dinner that was held their turned out wonderfully! The food was delicious, the people were friendly and the serbice was great! Great Food and View

Bad Experience
My husband and I ate at Billy's this past summer. It was our first and last time visiting this establishment. I thought the food was overpriced for the portion size you received. We were not happy with the food. By the way, my husband is obese and will eat just about anything not nailed down. He had shrimp and scallops, bad.    [12 Nov 2004 04:44:15]

Rehearsal Dinner Gone Bad!!!!
I don't know where to begin. The first time that I had went to Billy's Lighthouse it seemed like a great place to hold my rehearsal dinner. (So I thought.) To make a very long story short we had about 75 people that joined us for dinner. We were told that they had to know the food choices of what everyone would be eating prior to the day of the rehearsal. That was fine until we were then told that we could only choose from 3 meals. We got all the information about what people were eating and called it in about 1 week prior. The day of the wedding rehersal after everyone was seated they then went around and re-took the orders after we had already gave them the orders. Some of the people at the dinner ordered well-done steaks and when they got their steak it was bleeding... we then sent it back to be cooked more and when it came back it still was not done. To make matters worse I was the last person to be served my food, (I was the bride to be.) By the time that I got my food people were already leaving to go home. I would not recommend Billy's Lighthouse to anyone. The service and the attitude of the watiers and waitress were horrible. We spent over $600.00 on dinner and we could of got better service at McDonald's.    [08 Dec 2005 13:09:49]
