Service is Awful
My company is just down the street from the Carbone's in Bloomington and we place many large orders and bring much business to them. We were trying to place a very simple lunch order of 3 mini pizzas and garlic cheese bread and my co-worker was on the phone for 10 min with one employee that could not give her a price, so another employee of Carbone's got on the phone and was very rude and condesending when all we wanted was lunch.

I have ordered from Carbone's all my life and will never order from them again. The employee would not take the order or give price info and was so rude that my associate told her to disregard whatever order we mangaged to place and and the Carbone's employee told her she did not care, they have lots of customers and they were not worried about losing our business.

We have informed everyone at our place of employment of the way Carbone's feels about our business.    [29 Oct 2002 14:02:53]

Best Pizza Ever
Moved from Minnesota to Montana in 1984 and haven't had a good pizza at home since! No one here makes them with the sauce or cheese like Carbone's. Whenever we visit Minnesota we bring a huge box of frozen Carbone's pizzas home. We try to ration them but it never works. They're gone in no time.    [08 Nov 2002 18:40:51]

St Paul Park has the only acceptable Carbone's.
I may be biased as Carbone's St Paul Park was the location of my first job. Other than that I can say with FULL confidence that it has one of the best maintained kitchens I have ever seen. Well managed and VERY clean. They also make fresh dough, cut the veggies (but not the mushrooms) fresh, make two kinds of sauce by hand and use a beef/pork blend sausage where the other ones just use pork...you can taste the difference. It also has a nice friendly small town atmosphere about it and owned by the same family for over 40 years. No matter how old I get, Carbone's always has the same welcoming aroma. I've been to many other Carbone's that do not compare but like I said at the beginning, I may be biased. If you're looking for a well made GREASY thin crust pizza that tastes great even cold...go to Carbone's St Paul Park! It really is the best of its kind!    [22 Nov 2006 04:06:36]

Recommended Dishes: ANY pizza, hoagies are good too, along with toasted italian cheesebread or perhaps a meatball sandwich, or try a pizza sandwich (Carbone's version of a calzone).

When did I die and go to heaven.
My dad and I were down to the cities for a weekend get away and were driving around and decide to go to carbones pizza. We were lost in the city so we called info and got the phone # for the place. We called carbones and asked for directions on how to get there. We were there in about 10 mins. only to be overwhelmed bye the quality, quanity, and overall greatness of the pizaa.
