Great food, great service!
We have eaten there three to five times per week for the past year. Great food (get the tomato salad if in season), trout is very good, as is the meatloaf. Excellent real mashed potatoes, and veggies that are not overcooked. Good chili everyday, and most soups are good. Service is friendly. Hostess runs a tight ship when they are busy. Lunch specials until 4 are the best deal in St. Louis. Sit outside on the covered patio if possible, or inside near the fireplace.    [29 Sep 2004 23:25:29]

No Corners Cut
