DISAPPOINTED
Poor cut of beef for Steak Diane, very thin and over cooked. Vegetables over cooked, didn't receive red cabbage with German platter, told it cost extra but on menu says it comes with the meal. Very disappointing, I plan to never come again. [07 Apr 2003 13:23:24]

Friendly service, cozy ambience, but....
... the food was mediocre at best. (Having eaten German food at Grandma's house as a kid, and at German restaurants across the US every chance I got, not to mention a few weeks in Frankfurt in the old country, I had certain expectations). The service was quite slow, though they kept apologizing for it. The rouladen (which I was really looking forward to) was tough and overcooked. Many of the beer listings were non-existent. For $70 I felt my son & I could have gotten a better dinner and better service elsewhere. [12 Mar 2007 13:00:44]
