Great Food With a nice, informal atmosphere but great fire grilled steaks, this should be your top priority when looking for a great steak house in Mississippi. Family owned and operated, The Beef House restaurant offers a distinguished and reveled menu that offers a select number of steaks cooked to your perfection. With the limited number of options - Sirloin and Ribeye - you are guaranteed an optimal experience with no questions asked. The monster sirloin for two offers 24 or more ounces of tender sirloin with potato and garlic bread. A fresh green salad is also offered with your main meal. They now, after 19 years of service, offer shrimp and a wonderful grilled chicken for the non-steak eater. Your steak will be prepared in a brick pit that borders the front of the restaurant. You can even watch your steak being prepared through the window as you enter the restaurant. The Beef House also likes to pride itself on the self-cut meat so they can provide you with quality not matched with frozen meat that is typical of most restaurants. What lacks in atmosphere is definitely made up with food and friendly service and moderate priced. They also accept cash, checks and major credit cards and diners club. [14 Jan 2004 15:46:59]

Good Steaks, a Bit Expensive Beef House has a limited menu compared to other area restaurants, but it appears they want to remain focused on the quality and not quantity.
I tried the ribeye on my last visit and it was good. Not excellent, but good. The steak was tender, well flavored and cooked perfectly. It wasn't very large, though, and had more fat that I expected.
The salad bar was small but decent. The meal was also served with a baked potato and toast.
The atmosphere inside is nothing to write home about. In addition to a large open dining area, there are a few private "rooms", each decorated with a few bits of themed memorabilia.
The steaks are grilled out in the open and you can watch them cook from a window by the entrance. The smell of steak permeates the entire restaurant, which is normally a good thing. However, on my visit, the place was very smoky.
Everyone was friendly, from the cashier to the owner. The waitstaff was not overly attentive.
The price is a little steep and the decor sparse, but you probably won't find a better steak in Grenada. [27 May 2007 11:05:53]

Beef House Well lets see.. Grenada MS. I did not know it was on the map, but here it goes. This place was hard to find from I 55, but I think it was due to the Hwy 8 construction, byt once I made in the drive way I found the parking to be great since I was in a 4x4 truck.
The steaks are great but the decor was a little on the red-neck NASCAR side, but if your into that then you'll feel right at home. The service was good, but the waitress could of come back a few more times for re-fills. The atmosphere was a bit on the bright side. The steak I give a 10. the salid bar a 4 and the toast and taters a 8. [21 Oct 2007 16:54:06]
