Good pizza buffet. This Pizza Inn offers a buffet for lunch and dinner.
If you visit during the busiest times, the buffet is kept well stocked with a variety of pizzas, pasta and garlic breads. However, during off-peak times, the buffet isn't replinished as often and selections are limited.
Most of Pizza Inn's buffet offers are thin crust and are very tasty. There is usually a supreme style in a hand tossed crust that is very good as well.
The taco pizza is unusual and quite good. It is a thin crust with seasoned ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato.
The buffet is also usually stocked with a bacon cheeseburger pizza, which is a winner. Ground beef, bacon bits, mozzerella cheese, onions and a pickle slice on top. Served on the hand tossed crust.
In addition to pizzas, there is pasta and chunky marinara sauce. That sauce also happens to accompany the garlic and cheese breads well.
There is a small cold section of the buffet devoted to salad items. The salads have always gotten good reviews from my dining partners.
Pizza Inn offers desserts, in pizza form. There is usually two types on offer, either a chocolate chip or Bavarian Creme to choose from. There may be a cinnamon stromboli on offer as well. Maybe it's the idea of a pizza style dessert that turns me, but the dishes are not something I enjoy. The chocolate chip pizza is too sweet for my tastes.
It may not be as well known as the other pizza places in town, but they offer a good value for the price with their all you can eat buffet. [27 May 2007 11:48:21]
