Nothing to write home about.
I've only ever had the buffet when dining at this Shoney's, so I can't speak for the menu items.

The buffet has a good selection of meats and vegetables. On weekends there is usually a seafood buffet, with catfish, whitefish and shrimp.

The only standout item from the buffet has been the turnip greens. They have always been good.

On my last dining excursion, the catfish tasted fishy, like it wasn't fresh. The shrimp were chewy and tough.

On one visit, a dining partner of mine got a piece of whitefish that was still completely frozen inside.

Overall though, if you're looking for a buffet selection of meats and veggies, this is your best bet during dinner hours.    [27 May 2007 11:53:14]
