I worked as a waiter there. The food is excellent. The bread for the po-boy sandwiches are delivered fresh from southern Louisiana. The owner's family is from that region and the family is known in Natchez for being excellent cooks. Very reasonable prices too. Don't miss it if you visit Natchez.    [18 Apr 2004 05:44:37]

crawfish beignets
I am from Thibodaux, LA, and my husband and I recently ate crawfish beignets at Biscuits and Blues in Natchez. I would love the recipe for the crawfish and mushroom sauce, or at least the ingredients that go into it so that I could try to imitate the dish. It was so delicious. Also, I would like to know the name of the chef who wrote the book that has this recipe in it. I know his name was written on the menu, but I forgot it.

Service was bad
I had heard a lot about Biscuits and Blues so we decided to eat there last night. The food was great but the waiter was more interested in his friends. We even had to ask for the bill at which time the waiter snapped at my husband...    [07 Oct 2007 17:51:20]
