GREAT LITTLE PLACE TO WIND DOWN!!! THIS IS BY FAR ONE OF THE NEATEST LITTLE SALOONS I HAVE EVER VISITED. THE STAFF AND OWNER REALLY GO THE EXTRA MILE TO EARN YOUR DOLLAR AND MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE LIFE LONG FRIENDS!! THE DECOR ITSELF IS A HISTORY LESSON!! I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW WHERE THEY TRACKED DOWN ALL THOSE TRULY UNIQUE AND PRICELESS ITEMS!! BEST PLACE IN TOWN TO QUENCH YOUR THIRST!! [17 Mar 2004 07:52:50]

Terrible Manners In the last twelve years I have made 9 trips to Montana. I have visited Yellowstone National Park 6 times and Glacier National Park 3 times. This last week I visited Yellowstone, including spending two nights in Cooke City. The desk clerk at the motel recommended that I try the Miners Saloon for dinner. While ordering a pizza the server told me they were out of dough for large pizzas. I asked him if he would consider giving me a price break on two small pizzas. From a few feet away a man said very loudly "No f*****g way!" and walked in the back room. I asked the server if it was alright to swear at me in front of my wife and son. He said "He is the owner and can do what he wants" Well I guess he can do what he wants, and I can vote with my wallet. We are also considering a winter visit to Yellowstone this yaer and you can bet I will never spend another dime in Cooke City. [26 Jun 2006 23:03:26]

Miners is a great place to eat, visit and relax I have to say that my family's trip to Cooke City was a blast. Especially getting to meet all the wonderful locals. Miners is a great place to eat and get a good cocktail. Miners is very welcoming and relaxing and we loved it. Can't wait to go again. [12 Oct 2006 20:21:38]

It was amazing. I loved the service, the owner came out and talked to me personally, definitely coming back. Raz (the owner) said he learned everything he knew from his mother. (cooking, not the foul mouth). [28 May 2008 14:35:40]
