Best Pizza in the Land Eugene's has been in business since the 1960s. The pizza is truly the best in the land. Hand-tossed-while-you-watch thin crust, baked in an authentic pizza oven, covered with a variety of topping choices, including authentic mozzerella cheese, well, this pizza is famous near and far. For example, it has traveled in dry ice on the train clear out to Western Montana, and who knows where else.
Whenever anybody comes home to Glasgow, they must visit Eugene's, and they bring new famiy and friends with them. Eugene's won the award for best family owned business in the state of Montana a few years back, and it really is a family run operation.
They also serve delish grilled burgers, and broasted chicken, and fish, and steak, and chicken strips, and a number of different drinks (but no alcohol).
Eugene's is open 7 days a week at 4 pm.
Eugene's has take out but no delivery. If you have a handicap, they will bring the order to your car if you ask in advance.
The restaurant does have a smoking policy, but it is not exceedingly smoky inside, and it should not deter you from eating in.
So, if you are ever in Glasgow, Montana, find Eugene's Pizza, just off Highway 2 East in the Big G Shopping Center, and have the best pizza you will ever have. [03 Jul 2004 21:49:13]

Eugene's is an institution I've eaten a lot of great pizza's over the years but nothing ever compares to one hot out of the over from Eugene's pizza in Glasgow.
The hand-tossing of the pizza crust has delighted generations of kids and adults alike over the years. It was always my favorite place to have a birthday party -- mine or anybody else's!
The staff and the owners treat new customers and us old regulars the with the same exceptional service, but sometimes if you're a REALLY OLD regular, like me, they might even do something special for you like open up the restaurant in the middle of the morning so you can pick up your frozen to-go pizza's to take back to wherever "home" is now.
And yes, apparently if you can't make it "home" to Glasgow often enough and must fill your craving for their pizza, owners Jeff and Sam Knodel are happy to ship them to you, for a price. (I didn't even want to know because it could be tempting!)
Their roasted chicken and salads with homemade dressing are a few of my favorites from the past, but these days on the rare chance I get to visit I just gotta have their pizza before anything else.
Thier cold tomato pizza has been my favorite for almost as far back as I can remember. In the winter Eugene's is warm and inviting with the smell of pizza and the long, tall windows steamed up, and during the summer it's cool and refreshing, and still smells great too!
Any day of the week, you can't beat it. [10 Oct 2005 19:06:06]

I miss Eugene's! If Sam would send me some delivery, I'd love it! Even after 22 years, every once in a while I wish I had some of their pepperoni or hamburger thin-crust; easily the best thin crust I've ever had, and I've been all over the world since leaving Glasgow! I hope they've kept the tanks of fish? I haven't been up there since 1985, but my Dad was just up there in Oct 2006 for a special permit elk tag he got on CMR. He said he went to go to Eugene's after the successful hunt and the place was packed and he couldn't wait the hour-line line out! I guess that's a heck of a testimonial, given that he's not been there in 22 years either, and when he goes, it's got an hour-long wait! Heck, there are restaurants here in Denver that would love to have that kind of customer loyalty! Drop a line Sam, it's been a long long time! [11 Jan 2007 04:13:21]

Eugene's is still the best... Pizza in the land.
Just returned from Glasgow. Eugene's is always our first and last stop. The aroma is still the same as I remember growing up. That burst of mozzarella cheese blend and thin crust pizza with Arlie's own special sauce just can't be found anywhere else on the planet! The hour-long wait was still worth every minute of anticipation.
Stopped on the way out of town to pick up four large Arlie Specials half-baked and frozen for the road back. Sat with Arlie and reminisced while his two boys worked the counter and his wife worked the back. The entourage of employees run an efficient and well-oiled ship.
Sorry, the fish aquarium is no longer there. Arlie said it just got too difficult to keep up. He's still got his 27" Northern Pike mounted on the wall, though. [08 Jul 2008 19:41:33]
