Good healthy food This is a great place to stop after a long camping trip in the North Carolina mountains. The food is vegetarian and really good. Also, there is a very pleasant bar downstairs. [08 Dec 1999 16:40:49]

Macro In The Mountains I discovered this place by accident while shopping at the world's largest shoe store - which is only a few blocks away. The Seed is a rather modern approach to the world of health food restaurants. The peasant dresses and Birkis reminded me of my hippy past but the food was quite new and innovative. This was my first experience with fusion food - mine being Mex-Japanese. The macro dishes were outstanding and after having eaten there three time there was not one dish that I didn't love. Awesome Vegetarian! I Love trying new foods and consider myself quite a critic. This place was awesome! I had the Wild Mushroom Enchiladas and the dish was heavenly! I only wish that I lived in Asheville because I would definitely be a regular. (By the way, I am not a vegetarian, but this place makes me feel like I could be one.) Great food, atmosphere and service. Loved it all! [11 Jul 2007 19:27:48]
