Maybe Too Good of a Secret? Why doesn't this place advertise? This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to for lunch. The Filet Sandwich could be the best sandwich ever created? More people should know about this place. [11 Mar 2003 14:38:28]

Hot, over priced, and ok food. Could be better - paid a lot for eggs, really hot when I was there, and the chef was not very nice to me at the bar. Over all I like Mellow Mushroom better. [07 May 2003 04:34:17]

Best Biscuits and Gravy You could get eggs with biscuits and gravy for less at many other places, but Tupelo Honey does it better. You also can get very elegant and tasty nouveau cuisine. You can eat on the sidewalk, and very late on weekends. [02 Apr 2004 19:22:50]

Hoopla Over Nothing. Pricey for the product. Warm food served cool? Mediocre food served by unattentative waiter. [15 May 2005 15:12:00]

Eccletic, Heady, and Delicious After five visits, I guess I owe the Honey a review. Breakfast is my favorite meal, at the the Honey, you'll not be disappointed. Whether you are looking for a country breakfast or something more sophisticated like "eggs crawley," you'll not be disappointed. The wait staff is amiable, helpful and are up to any challenge. There is a reason people line up on Patton Ave. before the place even opens waiting for a seat. Fresh coffee is available as you wait your turn, and it is worth the wait. [16 Jun 2005 16:16:22]

Best Place in Asheville As an Asheville native I try every restuarant that comes in to town. Tupelo Honey Cafe is the one I just keep going back to however. It's a great place to eat at before you go out. Enjoy amazing southern food and great ambiance. [25 Aug 2005 12:11:54]
