I Love This Place
Elmo's has such a large menu and you can count on everything to taste great. I go to Elmo's at least once a week, either to the Durham or Carrboro locations. The staff is always friendly and the food and service is prompt...(and it's pretty cheap).    [26 Aug 2002 20:21:18]

The food is always good and fresh, and it arives quickly. There is a wide variety of dishes, and they're all good. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, and always clean. It's like a 50's diner, but not greasy at all - everything seems healthy. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and they go out of their way to be accomodating to children and pets (they have a designated place outside to tie a dog's leash, complete with a water bucket!) Elmo's Dinner was the first restuarunt I went to as an infant. By three years old I had choosen my favorite dish - Grilled Cheese with apple sauce and a chocolate
shake. Now I have moved on to the vegetable platter.
I hope that Elmo's Dinner will be around for a lot longer so I can bring my children to it.    [28 Feb 2003 13:32:03]
