I was in Cary for the PONY Nationals (softball) tournament and we needed a place that had some good food and quick service, and Gypsy's was the right choice. Nothing like greasy food after a night at the club

After a night of clubbing with friends, we were hungry, and our local friend had brought us to Gypsy's.

My husband had blueberry pancakes and crispy bacon - simply delicious! I had 6 slices of french toast - and they definitely tasted like diner french toast, greasy and sunk in the stomach well. One of my friends had a breakfast sampler and it had everything - eggs, sausage, bacon... all traditional breakfast fare. His girlfriend had french toast with crispy bacon. Our friend who was hosting us had a slice of the chocolate meringue pie, which looked really well and was rich.

Gypsy's is definitely a traditional diner - with the diner look on the outside, the jukebox with records inside, and delicious greasy spoon food.

If it's a late night and you're hungry, Gypsy's would definitely hit the spot.    [29 May 2006 11:49:37]
