Q: What is the single best eatery in Chapel Hill?

A: Hector's.

Let me tell you a little about food. As an expert restaurant reviewer and food critic, I've seen it all. Crab Rangoon a La Cherries Jubilee? I've had it. There isn't much you can suprise this old foodie with these days, but let me tell you something. When I stepped into Hector's, I was suprised at how amazing it was. I strolled in for a late dinner and couldn't believe my eyes. The place was overflowing! Amazing. Any place that is this crowded at 3 am must be "da bomb" I said to myself. I was not dissapointed. Everything about the place defines "chapel hill" right down to the clientele and courteous staff. When it was my turn to order, the server said "whatchu want, man?" This is what I like about Hector's. They get right down to business. I had the Pizza Burger on Pita and it was a succulent combination of flavors, bursting into a party inside my mouth.
