I'm from a town about 30 miles away and had never heard of this restaurant, but I wanted to take my wife to a nice place for her birthday. I found 300 East on the internet, the reviews were good, so we tried it. I have to say that it was one of the more pleasurable dining experiences we have had in a long time, and will go back and take our friends from Florida when they come to visit. The food was great, and the waitress was always available and very pleasant. We went on 10/4/2003 around 8pm - service was prompt. Be sure to have the Matilda.    [06 Oct 2003 19:51:08]
