A great Restaurant. Homemade sourdough bread - Great scratch pancakes -- an inexpensive homecooked menu in a converted greenhouse/stone home. Kitchen is viewable and very clean -- friendly home owned business. Closed on Mondays [19 Apr 2004 12:09:54]

Where the Locals Go
All the locals go to Fireside Restaurant because the food here is just about the best cooking for the best price anywhere in Hendersonville. Breakfast is particularly good -- a full country breakfast the way you remember it from childhood. They have wonderful breads, good service, and great "meat and three" style lunches. Its a downhome place with a downhome atmosphere and great food. I only wish they were open for supper too. [22 Aug 2005 22:28:09]
