Best Pizza Ever!

Lazy Store Folks Decide Not to Show Up
My wife is currently visting Winston-Salem and after a day of filming ordered a pizza an hour before closing. When she called to check on it the manager stated that someone else had called and decided to cancel her order, hung up, and the phone was busy until closing.    [28 Feb 2005 00:52:37]

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!
I have never been treated so rudely by ANY restaurant (even drive throughs) as I was by Upper Crust. They didn't bother to tell me my house was too far for delivery, even when I specifically spelled out my street address so they could answer this question. Later, someone called to tell me it was undeliverable and hung up on me in the middle of a question. Then, they wouldn't pick up the phone for ten minutes when I called to ask if I could pick it up, and it was still sitting there when I finally got through. The manager did not offer any discount for my troubles (besides removing the delivery fee), and it turns out he was the one who hung up on me so rudely in the first place! RUDENESS
I would never recommend this place. We ordered a very large order and was told that the price was almost $80 then told it was my mistake and hung up on me. I then call back and ask to speak to a manager with the same story. still yet my husband went down to pick up the order and the girl ACTUALLY told my husband that she had wished I had come in because i was rude to her and she had a few things to say to me!!! I ordered a delivery and it took, way too long.

Subs, Pizza and Pasta are great
Food - I have had everything on the menu it is all very good but the Tuna Sub is untouchable. All the pasta dishes are well above average too. I am not a fan of pizza and I even like that.

Service - They stay open later than most so thats nice and the drivers have always been very polite.

Ambiance - The restaurant is always clean. There is no distinctive theme. The people they have in place are always very nice. It is not really a sit down kind of place IMO but I would not object to eating there.

Upper Crust is by far the best food you can have delivered in Winston Salem nobody is even close.    [26 Nov 2006 04:04:49]

Salads are great
We like this place very much. I have never gotten anything but polite prompt service.
We often go to the restaurant for their buffet because not only can we get the food we want (they stock the bar with whatever pizza you want) but there is also a great old table top pacman game there for me and my husband to sit down at and enjoy a little childish fun. I dont enjoy there pizza very much because the cheese is a little greasy imo. However everything else makes up for it.    [09 Dec 2006 14:04:26]

Just ok...
I've eaten there several times, but honestly only because they are the only delivery place in my area. Food is just OK...nothing special so far.

Prices are on the high side too. For 2 cheese steaks, 2 orders of fries and a bottle of soda it cost around $30! But like i said, given the options....    [17 Dec 2006 18:31:19]
