La Famiglia is awesome!
La Famiglia or as some remember it, the "Bogota Italian Restaurant" is a wonderful restaurant. Their Penne ala Vodka and Chicken Francaise are out of this world. We have ordered food for many family events and have always been thrilled!    [10 Jun 2004 17:32:19]

Very Disappointed with La Famiglia
My husband and I thought this place would be great since it was packed on a weeknight. The food was so disappointing, we couldn't understand what the locals like about it. The vegetables were tasteless and soggy. The fried calamari tasted like it was sitting under a heatlamp. The marinara sauce was bland and tasted worse than jarred sauce. Very Good

Great Food, Great Service, Best Italian in North NJ
Never had a bad meal or experience, always friendly service, food served fresh, hot, and authentic. It is BYOB so be aware, and bring some vino. Family atmosphere, but not "family style." Unpretentious, but dependably delicious. Take out menu rocks, too.    [29 Dec 2006 16:54:55]

Mean waitress

We loved it!
I recently tried La Famiglia after reading about them in the Record. I was really happy with everything. Prices, staff, food and ambiance. I have a wonderful waitress. Maybe my previous guest went on an off night? Highly recommended - try it.    [06 Mar 2007 13:38:29]
