One of My All-Time Favorites
Very quaint atmosphere, especially upstairs.

The food has always been consistently very good. The service has always been incredible as well. They are very accommodating if you prefer to change an existing item off the menu or will create something to your liking.

I took my Grandmother (92 years old) to The Farnsworth House for dinner. I will never forget how accommodating they were or how wonderfully they treated her.    [12 Jan 2001 15:06:34]

Farnsworth House has Become Mediocre
As regular customers of the Farnsworth House, we had become familiar with the menu. My 82 year-old mother, also, consistantly dined at Farnsworth as well as other members of our family.

Over the past two years, when bringing out of town guests to Farnsworth we were, unfortunately, disappointed in some of their signature dishes, which we ordered time and time again, over the years.

Needless to say, we are very distressed by this situation. We were under the impression that, perhaps, they were under new management.

Our favorite dishes included Steak au Poivre and Fruit of the Sea. The last three or four times we ordered these dishes, however, they were disappointing. This was the only place we brought visitors, however, we are now reluctant to do s    [13 Oct 2001 11:38:27]

Prices are reasonable for an outstanding dinner.

Good stuff
