Food was Great, Service Issues The food is always good and sevice is usually above reproach, however I had a very unpleasant experience with a manager/owner on 11 Jan 04. I was dining with a friend and expressed some concerns about service. The matter was resolved when Gina (a great waitress on staff) stepped in and took our order. Upon completion of our meal I attempted to speak with the a man at the register but was screamed at, told that "I was beneath him" and told us to "Get Out". I further attempted to reason with this person but to no avail. It is unfortunate because I have often recommended the diner to many people but in light of todays events I will not be dining there again nor will anyone I know. Due to the nature of how I was spoke to I am seeking the advice of my attorney. [11 Jan 2004 16:55:46]

Don't order from here I ordered a $10 chicken ceaser salad. It consisted of lettuce and piece of flat processed chicken. In fact I'm not so sure it was chicken. Not what I expected for $10. I could get a better salad that comes with a fresh grilled chicken breast, cheese, croutons, and a roll and butter for $6 at my local pizza shop! The salads were about the only items that were available to those on a low carb diet like myself. I wasted $10 and a salad. The chicken was so gross that I tried to eat it and I just couldn't. It also took over 10 minutes to receive the beverage I asked for when I first sat down. [16 Aug 2004 23:38:38]

Horrible service, rude manegement, and horrendous prices I live one block away from Harvest diner, but i would rather waste gas going to other diners then dine here. The best way to describe this place is that no matter how good you think everything is, Harvest diner somehow ends up making everything exactly wrong. I get creamed chipped beef at every diner I go to. And while Harvest has a great tasting cream chipped beef, 8.50 is not a price I want to spend on a plate of cream chipped beef with only 2 peices of toast on it. The service is slow, and I have many times when I attempted to discuss the price, the management treated me very rudely. There are plenty of other diners in the area that have better prices. My friend and I couldn't go in there and get coffee without getting overcharged. Most diners charge a dollar for a cup of coffee, and then you get free refills. Not harvest. They gave us one cup, and when we asked for a refill, they ended up giving us the pot of coffee, and charging us for it. The food quality and service is NOT worth the money and time. Choose another diner if at all possible. [13 Jan 2005 02:37:56]
