A Great Place to Eat This restaurant is fabulous, serving delicious Chinese food in a comfortable setting. The prices aren't too high and, even if they were, I would still keep coming back for more. The service is good, and the food is delicious. [02 Dec 2000 16:55:25]

Simply the Best Baumgart's is the type of place that leaves you craving more. Never before has a house salad injected so much excitement... it's the walnuts I think. Everything from the grilled cheese to the crispy noodles to the sesame chicken is amazing. I mean AMAZING! The shakes are among the best I've tried world-wide, which is not a lie. It's just one of those places you can eat at over and over again and NEVER get sick of. It simply is the best. [25 Apr 2001 13:35:46]

Fast sit down diner food Baumgart's is the Jewish deli that became a Chinese resturant. Service is incredible fast, but the speed results in fairly simple food and presentation. Prices are reasonable. [26 Nov 2003 15:11:49]

Missed Obsession I go away to school, and to be quite frank, one of the major aspects of home that I miss is Baumgart's. From it's sesame noodles to chicken and pine nuts, it is AMAZING. If I could have Baumgart's delivered to Delaware for a price, i would not hesitate [22 Oct 2004 13:42:32]

I was very disappointed in the food and the service. For many years I looked forward to their Vegetable Fried Rice and Crispy Walnut Shrimp dishes. It was terrible. The rice was sticky and the shrimp dish was small and had very few walnuts. The desert was an outrageous $3.60 for one scoop of Ice Cream and some topping. They will never see me and my friends again. [24 Jun 2005 09:28:52]

I won't ever eat at Englewood location again I have loved Baumgart's since I was a young child. In the past few years it has become a nightmare to eat there. Terrible service, and management is just as rude! Moldy bread! Dirty tables and walls. I even saw a roach! I don't know why I kept going back. I guess wishful thinking that things would get better.
The Edgewater location is now my favorite place to be. Much more chic. They treat you like they REALLY DO want you to be satisfied! Much cleaner location as well. Sushi chef are sooooo much better! MMMM Fresh! [20 Jul 2008 14:23:44]
