Fantastic ambiance and food
Catelli's is one of my favorite restaurants. The fare is Italian, but so much more than that. For starters, you will have 2 waiters waiting on you and you will feel like you are in heaven. The specials are usually very good, and the main menu is also very good. I have been there many times and have not been disappointed yet.    [06 Sep 2000 09:25:17]

Worth every cent
Catelli Ristorante & Cafe is a relatively expensive, yet marvelously enjoyable restaurant. The bill could easily top $100.00 per couple if you eat right, but it is worth every penny. The ambiance was magnificent and the food was first rate, both in presentation and in taste. Drinks are over-priced, but the food more than makes up for purchasing an appropriately complenting wine. Everything from the appetizer to the desert (oh those wonderful deserts!) will exceed your expectations.    [14 Feb 2002 13:10:12]

You Won't Be Disappointed
Except for the wine, which is highway robbery at $9 for just 4 ounces of a shelf red (don't order by the glass!), it was well worth the money. The most difficult thing about dining here is trying to decide what to order. The menu is extensive, add to that the specials, and your head will be dizzy and your tastebuds in a tizzy! Each course was superb and the ambiance and service were flawless (2 waiters per table a bit confusing in the beginning). Truly a center city experience in the suburbs!    [02 Sep 2003 13:02:00]

New Years Eve Disaster
My wife, six friends, and I made reservations for New Year's Eve Dinner at Catelli's for 9:00 PM. We know they have fine food. At 10:30 we were still not given a seating time. When we voiced our displeasure the hostesses and manager were simply ignored us. We turned this lemon into lemonade after we left. It was clear they overbooked. On such nights this place is to be avoided like the plague.    [02 Jan 2004 14:23:18]

Valentine night nightmare
My fiance and I had reservations for 8:15 Friday night on Valentine weekend. We were seated promptly but next to a very loud and boisterous office party. We asked to be reseated because we wanted a romantic dinner, not the atmosphere of Jays Elbow Room.
After being reseated, our new waiter came over and recited the nightly specials and asked if we'd like anything to drink. We asked for a glass of water and a few minutes to review the wine list. 15 minutes went by before he came back for our drink order. It took 10 minutes for him to return with the bottle, he poured the wine and set the bottle on the table next to ours (stating he will be back with a chiller), no water yet. At 9PM the waiter came back to take our order, we ordered 2 specials (Stuffed flounder and Stuffed Salmon) with a coconut shrimp appetizer and the mushroom soup and water.

The soup was served 15 minutes later (9:15) and was very delicious... and we also got a glass of water. The shrimp was served about 15 minutes later and was very tasty. The waiter came back and poured the remaining wine into our glasses and never asked if we'd like another bottle.

Our dinner arrived at 10pm and we were forced to ASK for more water. My dinner (stuffed Salmon) was dry on the edges as if it was sitting, my fiancee dinner looked fresher. Both dinners were presented well but the dryness of my dinner overtook the presentation.

We ate our dinner and we didn't see the waiter the whole time. My fiance wanted a dessert but by the time we talked to management to get our table cleaned and leftovers bagged she was so disgusted that we passed on the dessert.

To top everything off when my fiance talked to the manager he was not apologetic nor remorseful. He treated her with no respect and nearly accused us of trying to get a free meal! We were not happy campers leaving this establishment and will never return.

Total Bill $116 for 5 pieces of shrimp, 2 bowls of soup, one bottle of their "cheaper" wines and 2 dinner specials. ABSOLUTELY NO SERVICE!!!!    [12 Feb 2005 14:09:10]

Excellent Food!
Valentine's day this year. The room was WAY to crowded (Greed won), but if you could ignore that, the meal was excellent. Service was good, even though a big crowd was there. We raved about each dish served, every bite excellent. We will be back, especially on a quieter nite.    [25 Feb 2005 20:23:28]

Catelli still the best!
If you love Italian food, like I do. I mean REAL Italian food, not some pre-fab corporate image of the cuisine, Catelli restaurant is THE ABSOLUTE BEST.
The Chef at this Cherry Hill - Voorhees sweetspot is talented beyond his years. If you are looking for the real deal... this is it!    [06 Jun 2007 12:53:14]
