Lincoln County's BBQ feast
Superb everything. Ribs are delicious and really do fall off the bone, as does the fun turkey legs meat. Brisket is tender, never overcooked or hard and the sauce is probably sinful it's so sweet and tangy. What really stands out are the fresh out-of-the-oven pies made from scratch there, topped by ice cream which tastes truly homemade, smooth, never icy. The potato salad is a local recipe and Tom's welcome smile and Howdy are truly rural America joy.    [12 Jun 2007 15:13:41]
