Great Mexican food and other stuff
This new restaurant was attractive and clean. Service prompt, helpful, and pleasant. The Mexican dishes excellent. Prices good... a value. Red and green chile sauces very good. A nice place to dine in a casual atmosphere with excellent Mexican food.    [28 Dec 2005 22:32:43]

Excellent Burgers / Great Entertainment
Yes, this is a Mexican restaurant but it'd be difficult to find a better burger anywhere else in the Las Cruces area. The red enchilada plate ranks up there with the best. For those who enjoy live entertainment, Friday night's guitar quartet "Los Guapos" is a must-see.    [27 Nov 2006 17:16:07]

One of the Finest for Mexican Food!!!
Chilito's on Foothills is a nice restaurant with good service. The food is terrific. Red salsa is superb. The Chicken Mexicana served on a bed of rice with chile, onions, mushrooms, etc. is superb. The burritos with red and green chile meat are awesome. No bean filler, but loaded with pork and in the most fabulous chile sauces. The chile sauces are probably the best in Las Cruces...the real deal for Mesilla Valley chile. The chile relleno burrito smothered in green chile sauce is outstanding. The Tampiqueno Steak served with either rice and beans or a baked potato or fries is the best tampiqueno steak served in this area of the country. Big and juicy and great tasting with little fat. (The steaks served in most Mexican restaurants are thin, tough, and fatty.) A fantastic deal for the price...around twelve or thirteen dollars. This place is hard to beat.    [08 Dec 2007 19:03:14]
