Late, Lazy Nights.. [added by editor]
One of the few relaxed places in Manhattan where one can drink great wines, eat tasty snack food other than french fries, talk late into the night in a cozy atmosphere. The wine list is manageable, the sandwiches and other snacks are great for sharing with friends, and the staff is friendly. Because it is on an out of the way street, the atmosphere is more intimate. It does become crowded since it is popular and a small space, but once one settles down at a table or at the bar, one does not have to move for a long time.    [21 Nov 2000 07:31:45]
