Amazing margaritas.
While the food is perfectly fine, El Nuevo Amancer has the most amazing margaritas in New York (not to be confused with inferior El Sombrero down the block). Incredibly cheap and strong, they also come with fresh tortilla chips and great salsa. The jukebox - all Enrigue Iglesias, all the time. Most of the dishes come slathered in sour cream and cheddar, but are perfectly edible (if missing something) without it. El Neuvo Amancer is also the only resturaunt to get my Texan friends' seal of approval. I know I couldn't have made it though my first year in New York without it.    [28 Sep 2000 23:00:11]
