Description

A classic New York lunch place: a cafetria-style combination deli-grill-pasta-salad-soup-bakery-bar. Choose salad fixings, and they'll toss it. Choose pasta fixings, and they'll cook it up. You can get wraps, burgers, or any sandwich option in between. Or get some oxtail stew and mashed potatoes. There's a good amount of seating available.

The Take-out Lunch Scene
Want to see who works in west SoHo/Printing District? Head to Jazzy's for lunch, where crowds of people pay an average of $6-$12 for a meal they can either tote back to the offic or snarf down at the wooden tables. The food quality varies, but isn't too bad. Their cheeseburgers and fries are not bad, but are worse (and more expensive--$5) than the nearby Hudson Grill. Their tossed salad station is very popular and their pre-made sandwiches are usually quite good (about $6). For the carnivore, steaming roasts beckon. Lines and service can get a bit out of control during peak hours--make sure your order has been clearly communicated and doesn't end up in someone else's han    [08 Mar 2000 16:58:10]
