Don't bother We wouldn't go back. My steak was well done and I asked for medium. It was very dry. The mashed potatoes and the mashed carrots & parsnips were not edible. It had a strange pasty/yeasty flavor and texture. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli and he felt you'd get more food out of a can from Chef Boyardee. He did like it but he would have preferred twice as much. Desserts were okay. The service was good and we liked the atmosphere. [28 Jan 2002 17:18:22]

Loved It We thought the food was wonderful, along with the service and ambiance. It was moderately priced and in a great location for dinner after a broadway show. [23 May 2002 06:47:17]

Fantastic I have been to Rachel's at least 10 times in the past year. When I need to entertain guests I will always take them to Rachel's. I have never had a bad experience here. Brunch is great, dinner is fantastic. If they are offering the chicken with macadamia nuts...ORDER IT! Get the asparagus to start! [23 Oct 2002 08:42:19]

Fabulous When I am in NY - with clients or vacation - I plan on eating at Rachel's!Furthermore, I recommend it to anybody that I know! Their soups are to die for and the Walnut Crusted Pork Chops are fabulous. [26 Feb 2003 15:12:59]

We like it alot! We have season tickets for Saturday matinees and go to Rachel's for at least half our lunches in the city. Saturday brunch (make a reservation cause they fill up!) is very tasty and very reasonable. Sure, it's a bit crowded and they rush you a bit, but then we're trying to get to the theater on time so we're ok with that. [02 Aug 2003 07:21:43]
