Hometown Memories I grew up in Conneaut, Oh and visiting Covered Bridge Pizza was often a special treat. After moving to Florida I came to realize just how much of a treat it is. Since Florida water tastes much like a rusty tin can you can imagine the difference in the taste of the sauces on our pizza. Visiting home became a pilgrimage to good pizza. The covered bridge itself is a great memory of my hometown. Ohio has many bridges and the history wonder of these structures can sometimes be forgotten. If you lived in a flat place like Fl with no bridges, like me you would come to appreciate them all the more when coming back for a visit. I love the place and so will you. [27 Jul 2005 13:32:17]

Horray for pizza I love pizza. It is the stuff of life. But I'm no push-over when it comes to taste. I am very picky about how my pizza tastes. Regardless, the best pizza I have ever had, is the pizza at the COVERED BRIDGE PIZZA PARLOR in North Kingsville OH. It was sooo delicious, the service was great and it is in an actual old time covered bridge. So the next time your in northeastern ohio, check out the COVERED BRIDGE PIZZA PARLOR. Fun, Friends, and Food Tonight I visited Covered Bridge for the first time. Some friends who live in Conneaut thought it would be a great place for us to eat. I have to say I loved the atmosphere. It was my first time eating in a bridge :-) and I spent a good few minutes just looking around. The food was pretty good, and the service was excellent. Good thing I'm friends with some locals! Covered Bridge is awesome I grew up in Kingsville and remember Covered Bridge Pizza when it was in a little white house. Was awesome then and I am sure it still is. Coming to good old Ashtabula in about a month and it is on my list of places to take my new hubby and 9-year-old stepdaughter. I know they will like it too! Ahhhh, the memories. I live in Florida now and it just isn't the same - miss the real covered bridges as we don't have them here. Anyone in Kingsville/Conneaut/Ashtabula area should be sure to check out Covered Bridge Pizza. I think we may have to eat there more than once during the week we are visiting!!!
