Was not pleased at all I have had events with previous owners and was extremely pleased, but the new owner is not accomodating all. The food was very poor in taste and quanitity. It tasted and looked like Sam's Club. There was no time preparing for the event. Guests are actually walking in as they are still trying to set up. The owner was very snotty and forgets that the customer IS paying the bill and each event should be suited to the customer. The food was very poor. The event was very rushed. You are told after an hour and a half that another event is booked and you have to hurry to get done. [26 Mar 2006 19:33:38]

Not pleased
Tea on Sat Feb 10 We went for a Tea and there were 11 of us and we paid 181.50. We were only served 2 trays of finger foods. We asked for more and they said it would be an extra charge. We were very disappointed. It was also so cold that some of us had to wear our coats. Needless to say we will never come back. [11 Feb 2007 14:04:07]

Terrible service I have been to many Tea Parlous...but this was the worse. There was not enough food for our group and one tiny little mini cheesecake and a chocolate strawberry for dessert. The price we paid for what little we had was terrible. Some one needs to explain to the owner that you can go to a very good restaurant for $15.00 and get a full course meal. Not 5 tiny sandwiches. Was not even remotely pleased Our group had booked this event at least 4 or more months in advance. The price per person was 16.50 that included tax and tip. For 16.50 we received very little service. I was not even asked if I would like anything to drink. We received the smallest cup of soup I had ever seen. A sliver of quiche 2 bites and it was gone. Then they brought out a tray with finger sandwiches, which we maybe got 3 a piece I thought it was the appetizer. There was hardly any filling and 2 bites and they were gone. The dessert was 4 chocolate covered strawberries,4 tiny miniature cheesecake cookies (I make them for Christmas and a batch gives you 6 dozen cookies) and maybe 5 slices of orange tea bread that maybe measured 2x2 and 1/4 inch thick (this was for 7 people). Our Queen asked if there were anymore sandwiches, that would cost extra of course. We all left hungry and very disappointed. The service was horrible and the food well I would have rather spent my 16 dollars on a steak at the lone star [11 Feb 2007 18:02:43]
