Exceptional Food & Atmosphere Joey's has been in CF for over 20 years and for good reason. It is the perfect little Italian get-a-way hidden in the commercialism of CF. Without even traveling to Italy themselves they have recreated it from the table clothes, pictures, and candles. The food is amazing and the two young owners do a hell of a job. So, to all of those who have something bad to say please get out of your little rich stuck-up mentality that the town is drowned in and try to appreciate a good thing if you can. Good job guys:) [27 Apr 2003 10:54:53]

No excuse I have never waited so long for food ... that never ended up coming after an hour wait. After half the order arrived, the veal parmigiana sandwich was called and lacked the major components such as sauce and cheese. The veal was processed and was served on a plate that was way too small. The stromboli that was ordered had to be boxed because we could no longer wait. The waitress claimed the stomboli was taken by another waitress ... that's why they had to remake our stromboli. The "sauce" consisted of a whole peeled tomato??? I don't know what kind of Italian restaurant this was, but I know all the hype about Joey's must be coming from people of other ethnic groups. I don't know one Italian person that would find this appealing. No wonder the location in the flats of Cleveland is no longer. [29 Dec 2003 08:52:08]

Joey's - Never Again!! My husband & I went out for a quiet dinner @ Joey's last nite. It was not quite the experience that we were expecting. We were seated right away, and rec'd our dinner in a timely manner. Both my husband's & my meal was below average, and we will not be returning. I had not eaten at Joey's in at least 10 years, and I guess I now know the reason why!!! [15 Jun 2004 11:25:12]
