Outstanding without the Regular Baggage Myra's doesn't have a snooty staff, high prices, or a dress code, but it does have untraditional dishes that come in nice, big servings and taste terrific. The atmosphere is casual and warm, the employees are genuinely nice, and the interior decoration is neither too bizarre nor drab and boring. Yet, it definitely has personality, especially for Cincinnati. The food, while all vegetarian, is not the stereotypical tofu paste you might expect from lesser veggierests. Speaking as a non-veggie, I still love this place because the dishes have terrific seasoning, span a wide range of palettes, and feel as good an hour after dinner as they did when first eaten. Dinner with a date here won't break the bank either. Assuming you include two alcoholic drinks and dessert with your appetizer and entree, you'll spend about $30, including tax and 15% tip. However, if you can eat dessert after dinner, you can eat a lot more than most. The servings are big and quite filling. All-in-all, a terrific place to eat, drink, and talk. [12 Dec 1999 11:11:46]

Not the Usual... a Good Unique This restaurant is GREAT! It’s laid back, reasonable, friendly, and the food is delicious. I would go back regularly if I could only get the Thai pumpkin soup. I can’t wait to try the Borsch. I have been there only once; but will become a regular. Can’t compare it to any other restaurant in the city. It’s a GOOD unique…plus you can see into the kitchen!
