Surprising Find
The atmosphere of this restaurant is that of a pub/bar, but the food is anything but that. A daily menu is available with options such as Crabmeat Crusted Chicken, Wild Striped Bass Provencal, Beef brisket and many more. Sandwiches and traditional pub fare are also available. The beers on tap are a great change from the traditional American beers. Guinness, Bass, New Castle are all available on tap. Best Burgers
There are five other reviews out there of Brennan's that I see right now and the interesting thing about them is everyone seems to have their own favorite food there.

Their menu is definitely an eclectic mix of bar food and some other real nice food that could hold their own in a higher end place, save for a rustic presentation and much larger portions (I definitely am not complaining about either :)).

What I did find surprising is that no one really described their burgers, which I consider hands down the best I have had. The 1/2 pounder is nice a juicy, and medium is really medium with a pink center and juices flowing when you bite into it. You really don't need anything but some cheese on it... but they also have an "all world" variation which has the works. Really, all their food is excellent, but the burger is my go to... and this coming from a guy who really doesn't care for most restaurant / bar burgers.    [04 May 2008 21:56:48]
