Excellent Thai food, but on the pricey side Lemon Grass is a spectacular Thai restaurant. I was impressed with the food, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere is great for small parties or large groups.
The group of 20 that I ate out with definitely put the pressure on our server, but he was great, and the other employees were helpful and friendly while our group arrived.
We got a good number of the things on the menu, and everyone liked what they got. Pad Thai was had by a few people, and the only complaint was that the "spicy" dish wasn't as spicy as they'd like. We got a large pot of tom yum goong (thai prawn hot and sour soup) for an appetizer, and it was the best I've had in a while. I got orange chicken, which was tasty and not deep fried, as I find to be the case at many asian restaurants.
Lemongrass has a full bar, an extensive wine list, and mouth-watering deserts. I highly recommend trying the coconut ice cream - what a concept! Creamy and delicious.
If you have a large party, there's no special section for you, but they'll put together a few smaller tables to make room. [17 Mar 2002 16:32:55]
