Great food at an even better price!
Ange's makes a pepperoni pizza that probably ranks among the top 3 in the Columbus metro area. I've tried the Karl Rd. and Noe Bixby Rd. locations and they never fail to serve an outstanding pizza. The rest of the menu rates as such:

pizza - 5/5
subs - 4/5
pasta - 3/5
sides/appetizers - 3/5

If you go to Ange's skip the salads/appetizers/pasta, there average for Columbus pizza joints. Ange's real strength lies in the pie.    [01 Dec 2005 19:30:17]

Been our favorite for years!
We love Ange's Pizza. I grew up with it right down the street and was thrilled to see one went in right down the street a few years ago to fill the void for our pizza cravings.

Their crust is medium, not too thick, not too thin. The sauce is good and robust but not too spicy. Good cheese and their pepperoni is excellent. If you get extra cheese it may get a little greasy but overall is still very good.

Their garlic bread is simple but good. My husband loves the stromboli which comes in a wide variety of combos.

If you haven't tried Ange's, you won't be disappointed. Hmm...I think I just decided what I wanted for dinner! :)    [16 Dec 2005 20:31:07]

50 years and still in the making
I first tried Ange's when my boyfriend worked at the Gahanna location. The pizza is one of a kind, one of the best in the Columbus area. Their chicken wings rank up there with The Lube, BW 3's, etc. Even though they don't have a lot of variety of sauces, I do see that they put a lot of pride into making their own sauce. If you haven't tried Ange's, go to Gahanna and try some. You can even go to the Crown Sports Lounge Bar that's connected to Ange's and enjoy the pizza with a cold beer.    [14 Jun 2007 05:20:13]
