Weight Watchers selections add to an already great menu!
I have always enjoyed Applebee's. Although similar to other restaurants of its kind, Applebee's never fails to deliver tasty American food.

Their somewhat recent additions of the Weight Watchers menu has added even more to their menu. Although I have always loved their food, the new Weight Watchers choices allow you to eat out without blowing your calorie intake for the day. My favorite item on the WW's menu is the Cajun Lime Tilapia. It is fantastic and I don't ever feel like I'm eating "diet" food. The tilapia is perfectly seasoned and flakes nicely. The vegetables are fresh and the rice pilaf is tasty.
One WW's dish I wouldn't recommend is the Grilled Shrimp Skewers Salad which had pretty good shrimp but the dressing lacked flavor. Tasted very much like a diet dish.

On the regular menu, you can never go wrong with the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Pecan-crusted chicken salad, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Chicken Fajita Roll-up, and really anything else on the menu, as I rarely leave feeling regret for what I ordered.

The service and ambiance at Applebee's is similar to other restaurants of its nature. Most people are there for a casual, quick meal out, so service is usually up to par, but nothing to scream about. Some days you might have an overly attentive waiter(ess) and other days your water cup may be left unattended until you say something.    [31 May 2007 13:32:18]
