Tonight I dined at Erie Waters. What a terrible disappointment. The evening started out wrong from the very beginning. When I ordered a Pepsi I received a diet Pepsi, which was exchanged. We order strip steaks at $15.99. We received our salads, which were fine, we did have to request silverware. We had hardly received our salads when our steaks were brought to us. The baked potatoes were hard and not cooked thoroughly. Again, a steak knife had to be asked for. When the new baked potatoes were brought they were cold. They looked as if they had been pulled off of someone elses old dinner. They were disgusting. I went to cut into my steak and was almost unable to. There was so much fat I could hardly cut it. I returned my meal. What a horrible evening. I will make sure that everyone knows how terrible the food quality is, and suggest that they not eat there.    [17 Apr 2004 23:16:25]

40th Birthday Parties
I have had excellent food and service at Erie Waters. I have hosted two 40th birthday parties there and my guest of honors and guests have had nothing but great things to say about the food and service. It's good
I went there on election night for the victory party and the food was wonderful. The chicken strips were very tasty, as was the pizza and the busy waitress made time for us, even though we were only getting refills on our soda.
I will go there again.

Well I went there this past Sunday for .30 wings. We had a party of five. My little brother had to leave early before we ordered so I requested his food be packed to go. The waitress Jessica said you have to pay to go prices, no special. She saw he had to leave and didn't care. We just asked her to bring it out anyway, since we've never had problems taking a to-go box in the past. When we asked for a box at the end she accused us of trying to get over on the system, and stated we should only order what we know we can eat. Just absolutely rude! Oh and when I checked my checking account today and they overcharged my debit card by $4.00 even though I left that terrible waitress a $5.00 cash tip on a $14.59 bill. The food was great though can't deny that. I'm sure I'll go back, they just need to watch who they hire.    [01 May 2007 11:55:26]

Good food!
Food is great! Service - Good... I was VERY confused on the previous reviews. I read the other reviews and just have to share my thoughts. The steak review... Should have returned it for a new one, they are very good about making the customer happy, noted the Wing complaint... this sounds like someone not wanting to follow the rule of no take out on wing night, if you make it okay for one it would have to be for all. As for cleanliness, many times over I catch a hint of bleach smell from the kitchen... meaning, they are bleaching down and disinfecting... Maybe EW should post their Health Department results...
