Cold Stone CreameryHere's the scoop on the luxury ice cream store: Rectangular pans of ice cream made daily on the premises is combined at the moment of order with any of the dozens of ingredient choices and mashed together with two ice cream scoops on an icey cold stone counter top. Have it in a regular bowl or in a waffle dish where the waffle irons churn out new waffles every hour. Everything is made from scratch right on the premises. Next to the tubs of freshly made ice cream are boxes, whole candy bars and bins of the upscale toppings for mixing in with the different flavors of ice cream. They also mix up shakes, sundaes and other frozen treats. Entertainment is part of the game as employees sing together when someone leaves them a tip in the jar or they help you to sample the many different flavors. This is the type of job where you audition for the job, in place of the usual interview. The interior is colorful with an area to wait for the next person in line to be entertained as they mash up the mixtures of ice cream and toppings. A limited number of tables are inside and a few outside. At the Pickerington franchise, the ice cream in a disposable bowl runs $3.29 with extra charges for more than one topping and the waffle bowl or cone. For just a little bit more you can almost double the amount of ice cream. The profitable franchise now exceeds over 1,000 stores nationwide.Related Restaurants Cold Stone Creamery Columbus Reviews review it add a link Shoppers seek scoop of luxury Ice cream maker offers taste of the good life - The Detroit News, By Karen Dybis, 7 May 3004; This summer’s ultimate accessory?
