Simply The Best General Tso's Around
I don't know if anyone gets out to this small town in Ohio that often, but let me just inform everyone that it is worth the drive. I first stumbled onto this small restaurant when I attended Kent State University. It was a 15 minute drive, but I looked forward to it every other day. It has the solid flavor of many other restaurants, but what sets this dish apart from the countless others is its unique "soft" spice. It does not have the normal thick after taste. Agreed - Outstanding General Tso's
Based on the other review here, I tried Ming Chu's. Indeed it is some of the best Chinese you will find in the Kent/Ravenna area. Especially the General Tso's Chicken. Just be sure to bring cash as they don't take credit/debit and I found myself having to go to Giant Eagle across the street to get to an ATM. Also the language barrier is pretty thick. Placing your order over the phone will take some patience and repeating. But all that aside, the food is outstanding. The dining area was pretty clean.
