Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill

Big burrito and tacos stuffed with fresh ingredients prepared in front of you at the counter. Pick the toppings from mild to spicy. The decor is an unusual use of tin and aluminum. The concept started as food prepared the same as a 5 star restaurant into a faster food concept. No waitresses, you pick your order at the counter and carry it to the table. Pricing runs a little around $6.00. No kids' menu.

Take a lesson
This place could take a lesson from the downtown location, their food was not quite as good as I've come to expect from others in this chain. Perhaps it was just a bad day for service, however I've not gone back there.    [22 Mar 2004 09:26:52]

Free Range Chicken Thighs as
While I have never visited that particular Chipotle, I just found out that Chipotle uses only the Thighs of the Chicken as their Chicken entree. It has only one gram less fat than their Pork or Steak. The Rice has 7 grams of fat for what was originally a practically a fat free food.

I guess that ends my weekly visits to their restaurants. Actually, it is kind of funny, can't you just see those free range chickens running all around and Chipotle only plucking off the thighs? Sounds like something McDonalds might do.    [31 Dec 2005 13:13:19]
