The food was poor at its best. They claim their meatballs are homemade when they are clearly frozen that's ok but don't say homemade when they are not that's deceiving. The atmosphere is bland and even worse when the owners are arguing with customers right behind you over a can of pepsi. My service was average I was half way finished with my meal before the server returned with my bread! My experience was poor I won't be returning anytime soon!    [03 Oct 2002 01:52:33]

How do they stay in business?

Is the customer always right???
My family dines at Tambellini's frequently. The food is always very good, and I haven't had bad service yet. Most of the waitresses and waiters are very friendly. I have waitressed many years and would like to say that there are many customers who are NEVER satisfied, no matter how good their service is, or how good the food is. If you have had a bad day, my suggestion would be to not dine out. Because you won't be happy no matter what. Though most customers are very nice. You do have those few who are just miserable. Notice that there are only two responses on this page. Every time we are at Tambellini's, the place is usually very busy. That must say something about their restaurant. You wouldn't be busy if the place was as bad as previously stated. The best comment that you made about this restaurant was that you would not be returning. no the customer is not always right BUT...
THE CUSTOMER IS STILL THE CUSTOMER!!!!
Not to mention paying your salary. I too have experience the lack of service, inadequate attention to complaints and the overall bad meal. Does anyone work here????
We went with friends two weeks ago...had excellent service and food, so we decided to return this weekend. The place was half full on Saturday night. We were seated right away...that was the good part. It took us over 15 minutes to get a waiter, and this was only after we asked. After 45 minutes we got our soft drinks. Food was cold as was the staff attitude. They acted as if it was a bother to serve us. No wonder why the place wasn't busy!    [20 Feb 2006 15:39:40]

The food is excellent everytime i go there i get wonderful service, great tasting and savory food. It doesn't take long for my food to get to me on very busy nights for them. The servers are constantly checking back with tables to make sure they are satisfied.    [16 Apr 2006 21:00:24]
