An Original
I first experienced the great taste of a Philly Original sandwich my when my fiancee' returned from her home town of Beaver with a steak sandwich.

Now, every time we return to Beaver to visit her family we have to make a special trip to the great Philly Original restuarant for an absolutely outstanding sandwich. The last time we were there I graved the taste so much that I had two steak sandwiches. Once you experience the taste...you keep coming back, you will too.    [30 Nov 2001 22:33:35]

First Timer Will Come Back
I had to see for myself. My cousin and I are constantly trading comments on food, beverages, etc. I believe that all of his positive comments are true.

Order an original with everything. Do not forget the Hank's original soda from Philadelphia. Parking is free at the curb, but a better sign is needed for this excellent eatery.    [01 Sep 2003 17:53:42]

It's OK
Great tasting food, however portions are small and prices are high. You could be pushing $10 for a small sandwich, drink and chips... They could really use some sort of side such as waffle fries or onion rings. The propietor has an unusual personality but makes you feel welcomed.    [21 Mar 2004 23:12:52]

Best Steak Sandwich ever
We have lived near Beaver for several years & were pleasantly surprised to find the best steak sandwich we have ever experienced at this restaurant. All our family that visits feel the sandwiches are the best they have had too. The new location is very nice. Pretty good home-made soups as well.
