Very nice casual dining
As with all of the North Park restaurants, the Deckhouse has a friendly, energetic atmosphere. A nice place for family or meeting friends. Good sandwiches and the entrees are actually quite nice. Wings are very good, for an appetizer try the twiggy pizza, it's the best. The deckhouse out back is okay, needs a little help with the wait staff and cleanliness, though. What A Place
The Deckhouse is definitely a great place to hang out and meet people. The karaoke on Wednesday nights is always a good time, then the bands on the weekends and DJs on Thursdays and Sundays. New owners step it up
New ownership has really improved the menu. They have a very nice staff. The deck out back gets a younger crowd. Very seldom disappointed in the food. It is bar food at a very reasonable price. Great happy hour with 1/2 price appetizers.    [10 Jul 2007 10:07:46]
