Yummy What a treat for such an upscale blues club in Doylestown, no less. The smoke free atmosphere was a big plus, the food was tremendous, the staff was exceptional (quite a few cuties), and the live Blues music line-up is the best I've seen. Ticket prices are reasonable and there is not a bad seat in the house. I give it a 9 on a scale of 1-10, come on, no one is perfect, but this place is close. [05 May 2002 16:46:59]

I thought this was a very nice place, food was good. We saw a band that was very good, which was an additional $15 charge to the meal. The band went on break and they wanted additional 10$ to stay for another 1hr. I thought this was very tacky. It ruined the mood, collecting cash to stay. We felt our large group of people paid enough with dinner and drinks that it would be to there benefit to let us stay to drink without an additional charge. We left a large table empty, due to this policy. I think one cover charge should be efficient. I don't recommend this place, for that reason. I will not go back, it is ashamed.. I thought it was a nice place. [08 Mar 2003 11:53:19]

The best blues club! This lovely, clean, upscale, comfortable, and ultra-friendly blues/dinner club is a gem! This is the best kept secret on the East Coast "blues scene" and it's worth an overnight trip to Doylestown to have dinner and to see a top-name blues band in the club's inviting and wonderful ambience. The staff couldn't be more accomodating, welcoming, and professional. The food is very good and the menu is inventive & varied. The prices for meals and entertainment are a true bargain. My friends and I have now driven many hours on two separate occasions to see the Tommy Castro Band and, both times, we were bowled over by the music and by how well we were treated as customers. Do yourself a big favor and experience this place. You won't be disappointed. Cafe Classics is a worthwhile destination no matter where you live. Check their website to see the big names in blues who frequent the line-up. [27 Jul 2003 13:09:25]
