Good food if you have the time The food's not bad. It's not my Nonnie's, but it is good like an upscale diner. Be prepared to wait. I have never gotten of there in less than 90 minutes during lunchtime. The diner next door gets me in and out in a half an hour. Because of that, I usually get take-out when I want something from Luberto's. [25 Feb 2002 13:14:18]

It's worth it First define what you want. If you are looking for a family oriented restaurant that is wallet friendly and serves very good, fresh, wholesome, home-made food (and a lot of it) then this is your place. However, because of these attributes, Luberto's is a very popular place to eat. The fact that they don't take reservations can translate into a long wait. Sure, the diner next door can get you in and out in a half an hour, but then you're eating diner food! Luberto's wins my vote as the best value in Bucks County. And it's a BYOB. This is not your restaurant for cozy, intimate talk. It's not the place to take a business prospect, or to impress a date. It's a place to relax. So bring a bottle of Cabernet, let them open it for you, and sit and have a glass or two while you wait to be seated. It's worth it. [16 Jul 2002 16:54:32]

Love it Not only is the food great - they cater as well - all our family parties, everyone loves it, and the prices are reasonable. [04 May 2003 18:04:05]

Pink vodka heaven The biggest draw to Lubertos is their pink vodka sauce, which is much different then you've probably had elsewhere. The pasta dishes (the true reason to dine there) are fully customizable beyond the suggestion dishes. So adding Pink Vodka Sauce to most dishes can make all the difference - particularly the "Sausage & Peppers" or on the side dish to the "Chicken Parmigiana". Fresh rolls, bruschetta and a light salad compliment the oversized portions nicely. Its typically crowded, but because of the quality of the food, not for the atmosphere. Chances are, if it's crowded from open to close 7 days a week, the food is probably great. [03 Feb 2004 11:15:10]

Good food and too much of it The worst thing I can say about Luberto's is that its helpings are too large; Luberto's seems to be leading America down the road to obesity.
But almost everything else I can say is good. The food is good, fresh, and well-prepared. The prices are low, very low. My wife and I, who eat out three or four times a week, usually spend about $35 for dinner in most Doylestown restaurants. In Luberto's, it's about half that. BYOB helps, of course.
Decor is plain. There's often a wait -- naturally, at those prices. Service is friendly. Childen are welcomed. But why do some men have to wear baseball caps when they eat out? [17 Oct 2004 16:16:36]

Simply the best This is the best food I have ever had in a restaurant. Since they make it fresh, they will cater to exactly what you want. The service is always excellent, and it is BYOB so that you are never overcharged for a bottle of wine! Whenever I go out to eat, it is to Luberto's. You won't be disappointed. [28 Oct 2004 11:35:47]

Luberto's two-bottles brick oven pizza My wife and I travel and eat out about 3 times a week, and I have to say that Luberto's offers one of the best values in southeastern PA. It amazes me how many Italian restaurants can't make pasta al dente. How can they possibly call themselves Italian? However, at Luberto's if you ask to have your pasta al dente, it comes out al dente! The portions are huge. Get take out and you'll get two full dinners out of it; eat in only if you have the time because the wait is long. But don't worry however, since it's a BYO, pop open the vino, ask for wine glasses, and sip until you're served. Then again, because of the wait, bring two bottles. [15 Apr 2005 17:23:37]

Inexpensive delight Only down side is no reservations and usually a wait to get in for dinner. Otherwise, outstanding food and very friendly service. [13 May 2005 11:08:12]
