Gourmet food at great prices
Micheal's Cafe was used to be the Hardee's along Rt. 15, but has been remodeled into a nice little restaurant. The menu includes burgers & wraps, as well as a good selection of gourmet entrees. The servings are adequate for normal appetites but perhaps not large enough for the really big eaters. That is reflected in the prices, mostly under $10. Be sure to leave room for the marvelous selections on the dessert tray. The servers are friendly & eager to please. No alcohol is served at present, but a liquor license is pending.    []

Rural Five-star Gourmet.
The atmosphere of Micheal's is a nice retreat after a busy week. The staff is friendly and the food has been wonderful on all of my visits. There is a full wine and beer list (wines by the glass are limited). There are full or half servings available for most dishes. The half servings are nice if you don't have a large appetite. The catch of the day which has never failed to live up to my expectations. Not up for catch of the day? Try the Carribean Jerk Chicken - spiced enough for just a little kick, perfect with the mango salsa garnish. The salads that accompany most meals are also very good - mixed greens with tomatoes and cucumber slices, topped with toasted pecans.
