Yorktown Sunset The Yorktown Inn is now just a fond memory. The Inn has gone sunset.
Auctioneer took everything. Now awaiting the wrecking ball to make room for new shopping centre. [16 Sep 2003 04:57:52]

Great dining experience for people of all ages. Pretty, romantic setting. Service is perfect. They never rush you and make you feel very special. The food is wonderful, with many choices. I had my wedding reception there because I knew everything would be perfect and it was. [14 Dec 2002 04:17:15]

Worst Experience My husband and I went there for New Years Eve. During our appetizers we were told by a young waiter to give him our entree choices since the kitchen wanted to clean up because they were all going to a party. The waiter also told us that if we wanted to dine till midnight, we should go to the restaurant across the street. We told him that when the reservation was made for 9:30pm that we would not be rushed. I asked for the manager which took about a half hour for her to come to our table. The prime rib was so tough, my husband had to chew it and spit out each piece. The stuffed crabmeat lobster tails were mostly breaded and I got about one bite of lobster in each one. The waiter also was upset because he had to heat up the mashed potatoes for my husband because they had been put away in the kitchen. During our entree the wait staff had all the tables stripped of their table cloths and the busboys had changed into street clothes. My husband said they were all standing around waiting for us to leave to go to their party. We had to gulp down our lukewarm coffee and when we got up to leave the bill had come to $136.00. We had some champagne and dessert also. To make matters worse, the $25.00 deposit check was not deducted so the full amount was on our credit card. The tip was included in the bill, so we couldn't even not leave a tip. I was crying when we left. This was the most upsetting dining experience I have ever had. We should have walked out right away. I wish we had. [05 Jan 2003 05:59:32]
