Koffee Korner...heads and tails above the rest
I'm so glad places like this exist!! Koffee Korner is a warm friendly place with great food and service but no pretense. All the food is prepared fresh by the owner, and you know that he cares. Gerd (the owner) could be running any number of fine dining restaurants (he has) but instead has brought his talents to a smaller place and the results are delicious! Okay, I admit that I am a good friend of the onwer, Gerd, but this place is awesome. He could be a total jerk and I would still come here. THe food is that great. Homemade everything (except maybe the pickles). When you go, tell them that Jonathan sent you!!    [28 Sep 2004 00:23:31]

This should be listed among the all time greats! The scene is funky because the clientelle is so eclectic, old and young, rich and poor, all there to see friends and chat with the local color. the cooks, who works right in the front offers their wacky and irreverant style to the whole mix, all the while cooking up some mean chow!!!! the cook takes no prisoners when it comes to breakfast.. their waitstaff are fast and friendly and enjoy their work..... it shows in the repeat business.    [08 Mar 2006 19:47:19]
