The Bay Voyage - AboutRI CyberDiner, John Philcox, 1 June 2001; A wraparound deck offers an incredible view of Jamestown Harbor and the Newport Bridge. The menu offers interesting selections. The excellent wine list offers several good choices by the glass. Preparations are well executed and dishes attractively presented. - suggest change

Great View, but at a Price Food was very good, but prices were high. Can enjoy just as good food at lower prices in Providence. [20 Apr 2003 18:27:14]

Wow what a place My wife and I ate at the Bay Voyage last week, and I have not had a meal like that in years. The food, the service, and the views of the harbor made it one of the best dining experiences we have had since moving to New England 7 years ago. One of the best restaurants in New England. Disappointment On Sunday, 2-29-04 I invited several guests to join me for brunch. A party of six. This was a family gathering, the first since the death of a loved one.
The food was excellent and the service wonderful. We paid the bill - $220.00 and were finishing our meal. Apparently we didn't move fast enough as the hostess came over to the table and told us people were waiting and asked us to leave. I was shocked and so were other guests. I felt embarassed for the family who was grieving and tried miserably to cover up the embarassment. What a shame. [01 Mar 2004 16:49:56]

Superb Yesterday was our first time having brunch at the Bay Voyage. There was a beautiful view, wonderful servers and most of all, the best brunch I have ever been to. Worth every cent. Paula & Ed [28 Jun 2004 10:16:46]

Fantastic We ate at the Bay Voyage last Thursday and enjoyed ourselves so much. They had live music and the food, the atmosphere, and the service were all tremendous. My hat's off to the Bay Voyage Inn for one of the best dining experiences we have had in years. [19 Oct 2004 14:56:20]

Going downhill - not worth $$$$ Sunday Brunch isn't what it use to be. Went there last week some food was overcooked/dry from sitting in the sternos and our waiter ignored us. Back in the 90's it was always outstanding. Food was fresh & service was delightful. A shame since the location is perfect. [21 May 2007 13:48:37]

Great specials Started out as a gift certificat we recieved from a friend now we go weekly and love it! We recommend taking advantage of the 2 for 1 great $$. Especially the the scallops or steak dish. The food is fresh and flavorful and the waitstaff is prompt and friendly! Bartender is very courteous...if you want to meet locals, enjoy an appetizer at the bar definately the crab cakes, then dive into dinner. The dining room is right on the water. Great atmosphere.
